Neutral energy and sustainability

The holiday home is completely energy-neutral due to optimal use of solar panels and insulation (Energy label A+++). Texel aims to be energy neutral. Bosrandbungalows Texel would like to contribute to this and has invested a lot in sustainable facilities to this end. For example, holiday home Vijverhof is completely oriented to the south. The south side of the roof consists almost entirely of solar panels and the remainder of solar water heaters. The solar water heaters do not only supply heat for the warm tap water, but also for the floor heating which is present throughout the entire building. Any residual heat is provided by a HR ++ boiler. Frames of the outer doors and windows are vinyl and extra insulation; The glazing is made of triple insulating glass.
The solar power is obviously used for all existing electrical appliances (including induction cooking) and lighting.
